I suggest not putting it up with an extension ladder from experience.

We don't know how tall it is quite yet. We have sections to make it ludicrously tall, because where it was last installed was a very tall warehouse/garage, and the stack needed to pass all the way through. We could make this 30 feet tall if we chose, and I'm certain we won't.
We'll try to get that optimal stack-to-evaporator length ratio of 2:1, which will make it about 20 feet tall.
As it is, I think even with that height, we'll need to install some stays to prevent the thing from blowing over. -tig

Wow, thank goodness the stack did not set the shack on fire, that's one way to clean out your stack.
I think your going to see a huge difference changing the stack over to a large one. I know all too well what is is like to install the darn things.
I am curios as to how tall your new stack is? We put in an 14' stack up when we could not get the 18' stack up.

It was not the same magical experience that your installation seems to have been but it was fun none the less.
